WEATHER-RELATED INFORMATION
MMSD will be monitoring temperatures over the next few days, as an arctic blast of bitter cold air enters the region Monday night, which could bring wind-chills as low as -20 degrees by Tuesday morning. The local weather story looks largely the same for the rest of the week, with the potential for wind-chills edging closer to -25 degrees later in the week.
MMSD weather-related closures or impacts are typically communicated prior to 10 p.m. the night before a forecasted weather event, or by 5 a.m the next morning. For information on how MMSD makes decisions about weather-related closings, please visit mmsd.org/weather
