Gompers Elementary PTO

Hello parents and families!

We’re searching for new voices and new energy to rebuild the PTO for the 2022/2023 school year! The previous dedicated PTO team “graduated” from Gompers, so there’s an opportunity for new people to bring their fresh input to shape the PTO going forward. Whatever your time, talents or resources, we welcome your involvement, big or small, in whatever ways best suit your busy life.

Our purpose

Whether you’re new to Gompers or have had children at the school for a while, our goal is to build community among parents, families, Gompers administration, teachers, staff and students - to help Gompers Elementary School thrive. The PTO plays a big role in helping support Gompers through fundraising activities and events, volunteer and enrichment opportunities, classroom, school and teacher initiatives - and it’s people like you who determine how best to direct our efforts each school year.

Easiest way to connect

Typically, the PTO meets once each month, usually on a Tuesday evening at the school library or virtually via Zoom or Facebook Live, and sometimes at a northside location for fun. Look for notices from the school about upcoming meetings and make a point to attend!
